Confirmation Email Redesign

Overview

As my first project at The New York Times I was tasked with redesigning the confirmation emails to be more engaging and visually interesting. I set out to create a system for re-circulation to give the first contact experience a richer look and feel. I created a spreadsheet with different re-circulation properties that was connected to the back end that allowed editors to easily program new confirmation emails in the vast portfolio. In addition to a new header system with frequency and title of the newsletter, these improvements made a meaningful impact in reaching users.
